What is causing ends to die

#PeaceLily
13” pot
Last watered 3 months ago
Sorry…I’m new here and don’t have an answer, but I’d like to know too! Not that I ever would have done this of course 🫣
In my experience they turn brown when they’re old leaves or the plant is just thirsty!
Peace lilies actually love water so you can never really go wrong with giving them a quick drink! It will also perk up the leaves a little more.
Especially because it looks like it’s in quite a bright spot, it can be getting thirsty and perhaps sunburnt.
I’d suggest too much direct sun! Place in a spot where you get direct sunlight on your hand but your hand doesn’t feel warm in the sunlight. That should be the perfect spot!
Thank you for the feedback. I will move her a bit and make sure she is kept hydrated! Currently she get watered weekly.
Hi there, peace lilies will get those brown leaf tips when they’re unhappy with their watering situation. It does say that your pot has no drainage - if that’s the case, I would repot it into a pot with drainage holes as well. I generally water mine when the leaves start to droop and they tend to bounce back up. Having said that, good soil is really needed - I had a couple in very poor soil that died because they kept drooping but the water meter said the soil was wet and I think I killed them with the water (root rot). They would have been happier in non-plastic pots and soil in good drainage. That way it’s much easier to control the watering. Lesson learned the hard way! :) Good luck!
