No do not cut off the yellow or brown leaves.
Your VFT is still using them for energy. Wait until they turn black, and then you can snip them off. You want the plant to have all the energy it can have because it has to work VERY hard to digest bugs. Also keep the green ones after you snip off the traps. The trap helps it get nutrients through bugs, the leaves help give the plant energy.
