Should I move her?

#Hoya I need help! I got this Hoya Curtisii about a month ago. It was full when it was delivered, but may have been traumatized by the cold weather. It has turned yellow and been progressively thinning. I trimmed a small amount of dead looking leaves and stems. Any suggestions to help save her? Should I put her under a grow light? She is currently a few feet from a southeast facing window. I have been careful not to overwater but she was very dry when I last watered. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi guys ๐Ÿ‘‹ @Hoyaobsessed @SuperbRaspfern @TheOddAsity @TheConservator @Propa @SuperblyLilac could any one of you wonderful people please help @CharmingMira96 ?This Hoya is struggling, and Iโ€™m no Hoya expert.
This Hoya is easily overwatered . This is a sign of rot time to chop it and prop it . Once itโ€™s starts to do this the rest of the stems will follow suit.
@Hoyaobsessed so do you think itโ€™s a lost cause? Thank you for your help and input!
No cut off the good stems that are left I see at least two viable stems. Then propagate. I do soil propagation for my Hoyas .
@Hoyaobsessed I hadnโ€™t thought of that. I will try it. Thank you!!
@CharmingMira96 when you prop it, if the milk weed comes out, itโ€™s good. Even in the stems with no leaves, the nodes might be good. You can cut and if you see the milky stuff, itโ€™s still good. I had one vine on mine and it has bounced back. I have noticed this type likes to be laid across sphag instead of stuck into it. It went faster that way.
Going add for anyone else having a hard time with this Hoyaโ€ฆ when watering give it a good drink then let it do pretty dry. They like to rot easily
Curtissi get that heavy thatch of leaves over the top of the soil kind of like alot of strings do. This causes the rot everyone is saying . Then when it rots it leaves to much soil and not enough plant and stays wet for to long. I believe thats why people have continous problems with these ! Me included ! Lol Ive stopped soaking mine when i water. I just water less but more often.
@TheConservator me too just got to find that happy medium not to overwatering
My curtisii is my only hoya that i treat totally different than the rest.
Its still not great looking by any means But it has consistently gotten better over the last 3-4 months. But i also bought mine from the discount rack at lowes last summer! Half dead hydrophobic soil, pretty sad loooking from the start . But i thought id jusg water it a frw times and repot and it would shape right up! WRONG !!!๐Ÿ˜‚
