What are these brown spots?
I noticed a few days ago that the leaves had brown spots on them and theyβre slowly traveling up to other leaves. Does anyone know what they could be??π

Hey! The brown spots on the leaves could be a result of fungal or bacterial infections, which often occur due to overwatering or high humidity. It might also be due to sunburn, especially if the plant is receiving too much direct sunlight. To help your plant, you can:
1. Trim off the affected leaves to prevent further spread.
2. Ensure that the plant has proper air circulation and isn't overwatered.
3. If the problem persists, consider using a fungicide to treat potential fungal issues.
Keep an eye on the rest of the leaves to see if the issue progresses.

Hi @MsPlantNewbie how often do you wanted your morning glory? This could be fungalβ¦ensure that your plant is near a bright window with indirect light. It should have a wide view of the sky, but avoid direct sunlight, as it could scorch the leaves
@Gustavo @PristineJonquil thank you both so much! I was afraid it would be fungal or bacterialπI water it every 5-6 days and keep it inside about a foot from a north view window. Iβll trim off the affected leaves and Iβll probably even use a fungicide on it and hopefully that helps stop the spreadπ€πΌshould I also move it to a smaller pot? The one itβs in may be retaining too much water due to its size.
@MsPlantNewbie humidity may or may not be related to the water retained in the pot, so I wouldnβt necessarily say yes. start with the trimming and the fungicide and letβs hope for the best :)
