Like parent, like plant?
Okay, so I started these #peppermint plants last spring. This year, they're as weird as I am. XD They grew like mad all last year, but I didn't get out to winter or weatherize them at all before snow fell (I live in southern Michigan) . At that point, they became a science experiment; Let's see what happens if I just leave it alone and out to the elements. So I did. Now. This spring, I seem to have gotten 4 or 5 different versions of mint. XD Can anyone tell me what's actually happening here? Like, the reasons behind why they would take on these different forms? The one that's very stringy and tall was facing the west, and got much hotter and much more sun that the other, which was on the north side and got better Temps and light. Other than that, I can't see why they're all so different!
