Leaf growing under soil?
Soooo, I have a heart leaf philodendron and a neon pothos in a small mason jar on my sill at work. I tossed some clippings in the jar with soil, have had great growth, and now I’m seeing leaves unfurling beneath the soil.
I assume it’s because of the glass. But I’m wondering if this will cause harm to the plant? Will it cause rotting or anything like that?

❀️ I did this also. With water. Nerve plant, & stems from mican, brandtianum, & golden pothos I am seeing leaf buds present at the nodes & some have roots.
@CreepingIvy that’s awesome. I don’t think it will hurt the plant at all. Congratulations on the new growth. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸŒ±πŸŒ±πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’•πŸ’•
