It can take a few weeks for the roots to get to a place where they’re big enough to survive being potted.
In my experience, I didn’t really see any growth on my last prop for about a week or so, and she was ready for planting maybe 3/4 weeks later (following the 3x3 rule; at least three roots three inches long), but it depends on light levels, the type of plant etc.

Overall, I’d say expect to be waiting about a month before the props are ready for soil. Happy growing!
Id say about a month average. Maje sure to change water every week or so and put in a bright location. It can happen faster! Just kinda a wait and see game
Watch the ends for any rot that may form. Most wont but occasionally some do.
