Hey!! What a rescue, go you for taking this challenge on!

The first thing I’m noticing is that soil looks like it could use a little TLC… or honestly I’d personally repot that bad boy with some new, fresh soil & water until it drains out the bottom drainage holes after you’ve repotted it! You can trim back the bad leaves or wait for them to die off, that’s up to you but they won’t repair themselves.

Give it a spot with lots of indirect, bright light as well. You can even wipe down the leaves as well to encourage more new growth as the dust & residue can be a filter for the light and will prevent it from getting adequate light.
