I have no idea what this plant is

I rescued this guy off the street when it was just a single spear, now I’ll admit it looks incredibly ugly but I’m fond of it. Greg says it’s a hylocereus undatus but I’m not quite so sure.

I totally agree with @Gordo - it's on the tip of my tongue. It reminds me of my Lepismium Cruciforme. It's definitely not what Greg assumed.
