Monstera Leaning

Hi. My monstera plants stems are leaning and some leaves look a but droopy. Im not sure what to do and im wondering if im overwatering or underwatering or what am i doing wrong since i really want this plant to live. I will take any advice. #Monstera
3ft to light, indirect
12โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 2 months ago
It looks like it is in regular soil. If that is the case, it should be repotted into a pot that feels like it is probably too small, with a chunky mix rather than soil. When repotting monstera you normally want them rootbound in the current pot then only go up one size. My guess is your plant's roots are suffocating in the soil with too much water.
When i repotted this one the roots barely fit in the pot and any smaller wasnt working. my other types of monstera that are in this soil are doing fine and it was like this in a smaller pot too
@Froggo_118 okay, sounds like the right size pot then. Do you have a soil moisture meter?
No i do not. What dos that do?
@Froggo_118 a soil moisture meter is like a thermometer for humidity. You stick it deep in the soil and it gives you a reading on whether the soil is saturated, totally dry, or somewhere in between. You want to keep it in a cool, dry place when not in use and wipe it off after using it to ensure the sensor continues working properly. The point is to know when your soil is actually dry, because the top may feel dry but the bottom can still be very moist. The basic ones with the green meter box work really well and you can typically pick one up for under $10
