Zebra plant turning brown
#ZebraPlant
This is Marty, my Zebra plant. His pot was knocked over and emptied by my over exuberant labrador a few weeks back. As soon as I found him, I repotted him in fresh cactus soil. Unfortunately, there has been a steady increase in the brown coloring from the base up. Is he a goner or is there hope to save him?

6β pot with drainage
Last watered 2 days ago
I would say there is hope to save Marty. You planted him in fresh soil which is great! Sometimes fertilizer helps (homemade banana water helps my plant every 13 days) and make sure you water it well. For the average indoor one, around 1.2 cups
Yes I was referencing Madagascar! @Faith_official I will try the banana water suggestion. Thank you.
Marty is actually some kind of aloe! Looks like he may be a gasteraloe? Aloes have those βteethβ along the leaves.
As for the browning, try slowly changing how much light heβs getting (if in direct, try a little less direct), and donβt water too frequently in case itβs an overwatering issue. Keep a close eye on it, if it seems to get worse then take it out of the pot and inspect the roots to see if theyβre rotted or something

Actually it looks like a gasteria of some sort! It may be like that because it got traumatized and it may be overwatered, try to let the soil dry out :)
