#Hedera Miley was happy for such a long time and now seems like she’s losing some leafs, she still has some new growth and healthy leafs though… is this normal? Does it need a little pruning?

An English ivy plant may lose leaves for a number of reasons, including:
-Overwatering: Root rot can occur when the soil is too wet, which can cause leaves to drop. To avoid this, water the plant only when the top inch of soil feels dry.
-Underwatering: Wilted leaves are a sign that the plant needs more water.
-Poor light: English ivy prefers bright, indirect light. If the plant is in a dark area, it may drop leaves. You can try moving it closer to a window or using sheer curtains to diffuse direct sunlight.
-Temperature stress: The plant may drop leaves if it's too hot or too cold. It prefers cooler temperatures, ideally between the upper 50s at night and 60s during the day.
-Pests: Spider mites and aphids can damage the plant and cause leaves to drop.
-Seasonal shedding: It's normal for deciduous vines to lose their leaves in the fall.
-New growth: Lower leaves may turn yellow and fall off when the plant is growing new leaves.
I must say your baby looks underwatered though.
@SelfmadeSalsify It started losing leaves a few weeks ago but I was in fact away on vacay and my roommate did not water her 😩😩
Ah!! That makes sense...give her a good soaking and she should perk up!
