What do I do to make the brown go away?

#Peperomia
3ft to light, direct
4” pot with drainage

I’d reckon that the solution is always going to be based on the cause. Is it getting direct sunlight on those leaves? I know that some of these plants are very sensitive to the chemicals in tap water, which can cause brown leaf tips, so you could try using only filtered water on it, and see if that helps. It ms a really pretty plant!
@LaneyLichen yes it’s direct sunlight right now
Oh okay. That’s good and it’s the easiest thing to fix!

Your plant may have been able to handle this spot earlier in the year, but now that the sun is getting closer, it appears to be too much for the leaves. Try to find an area with morning sun and mostly shade after that, or a spot with several hours of bright shade/dappled sunlight. A lot of these varieties were created for houseplants and many are very sensitive to any direct sunlight.

Generally speaking, the darker green shades of foliage, like this, are going to be better for shade, and lighter green/varieagated foliage tends to require more light. For now, you can trim the burnt edges, or cut the whole leaf. It shouldn’t keep happening after you move it. You should see more of the texture and detail after moving it, too. Show us an update soon.

Good luck!!
@LaneyLichen thank you!!
