Are you sure they are worms, or do they have feet? Could be a form of millipede.

Do you see if they have a black head? If they do it might be fungus gnat larvae. Have you noticed small black flies around the plant?

Brown head might be root maggots.

If not (just all white), they might be harmless. Maybe you can take a look at them under a magnifying-glass?

You can check if they light up under a black light.
Might be maggots from some type of beetle too. For outdoor gardening there's a weevil that does this [actually all weevils do], but if the plant looks fine otherwise nothing to worry abt
