It looks like dry rot. I’d cut it off higher than that dry rot, dry the plant for 5 days and then plant it into new dry soil.

I wouldn’t always go by what Greg says when it comes to watering. Check to see if the soil is dry before watering again

@JackHenrysMom I agree. I would make sure that the soil is dry before watering again. If the app says to water and the soil is still wet just hit the “snooze” button and it should push back the day to water it.
