That looks like corking. It's a natural process s succulents grow. It's like a woody substance they make to support themselves.
Totally normal. But stress from over or under watering can cause it to happen seemingly overnight.
If she is dropping leaves easily she is overwatered.
Wrinkling and wilting she is underwatered.
