Tips for growing mango

I am growing a Tommy Atkinson mango that I hope to get fruit from someday 🀞. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help it grow a little faster since it has been looking healthy but not producing any new growth recently. I live in climate zone 7a so I feel like I have to keep it inside for like half the year😭 but I try to give it as much sun as possible. Thanks for any helpπŸ™

Hello! So I have a few mangos growing, and I live in zone 6a. So like you, for half the year they aren’t as good. πŸ˜‚ but I did learn two things ( may the first two mangos I learned on rest in peace πŸͺ¦, thank you for helping me learn so I don’t kill more.. 😬) first- rain water! - or you can use things to help bring back a good ph balance. It also balances out chemicals and things in tap water..don’t be afraid to let it dry out a little. Second- it needs humidity, and extra lighting.. I finally had to get full spectrum, as well as the blues and reds.. and a little heat lamp. My question is too, how big is the plant? I went a little bigger on my pots and gave a lot of organic matter and mulch around the top. They get cold. They improved a lot. I also moved mine out to my garage with a little heater and lights, that way they don’t keep moving in and out.. tricks them into a more a natural setting. I also added lava rocks in a tray under them with a little water πŸ’¦ I hope this helps, let me know if I can
Thanks so much for the helpπŸ™ I will definitely look into getting a lighting setup for it. How do you recommend getting it more humidity? Where I live the air is very clean but also very dry. The sapling itself I grew from a seed and as of now it’s almost 12 inches tall. Thanks again 😊
