Peace Lily is down bad

I’m a first time plant mom… my baby was great after I had her repotted. However within the last week, week and a half she’s been drooping real bad. Any suggestions on how to bring her back to life?? #PeaceLily #HappyPlants #NewPlantMom #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
2ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 months ago
Big misconception about Peace Lilies, we repot them prematurely. Peace Lilies really love to be root bound. It appears this pot is too big for the roots. Look again and see the status of the roots.
Mine do this when they need water, they’re very dramatic! Also I have mine in a BIG tall pot with no drainage and she’s been happy for years, so maybe it’s location or plant by plant drama, I wouldn’t repot her again if you just did because that could cause more stress and it’s unlikely there’s been a change in roots in a week….check your soil if it’s dry, give her a drink! Sometimes new soil doesn’t hold water till it’s good and saturated (I always over water immediately after repotting, then wait till the top dries out before watering again)… good luck!
Try bottom watering. Set the pot in a tub of water and allow it to absorb moisture until the top is wet. When you water from the top, most of the water runs along the edge of the pot and out drainage holes before the soil and roots have had a chance.
Water her , she will perk back up
Water!!
@PoeticBlueiris yes, at risk of being called a root rotten, I truly don’t think u can over water a peace lily! I mean don’t drown it but idt once/wk even every 4-5 would hurt her
New potting soil is going to basically repel water until it's had a long soak, I'd guess yours isn't absorbing any. Put it in the stopped sink, fill the pot with water, and let it sit overnight. Should give it some bounce back!
