What is this bug?

Can anyone tell me what this bug is? It’s eating my yucca plants up. There’s a few of them ad I’ve sprayed with the spray in the picture below but they keep coming back. They’re only in my yuccas: anybody #TheWateringHole @SillyPlantGirl: @mamaLinne @Hoyaobsessed @Blueberrypie @HisLobster

Front the picture it looks like a kind of leaf-footed bug. It shouldn't cause any significant damage to the whole plant. They suck out the juices in the plant and damage the flower buds.
@ExecAudreyficus thank you for responding yuck 🤢 that explains why my yucca blooms have died one by one. How do I get rid of them? Do they spread?
@ExecAudreyficus I’m afraid to use neem because of the sun 🌞 they’re killing the whole plant 🌱
Are you sure they're killing the WHOLE plant? Or just the flower stalk? Are you finding them on the yucca stems?
@ExecAudreyficus not on the stem but the stems are turning drying out.
Hmmm. How strange. Picture to see if it's natural or not, please?
@ExecAudreyficus the stem is dying too every thing that would be a new bloom is brown
@ExecAudreyficus they’re dying
@ExecAudreyficus it’s drying out too
You can spray the bugs off with a hose if insecticides won't work, but aside from that, I don't know what else you can do.
And these are all pictures of the flower stalks dying, which isn't the yucca base itself dying. The yucca looks fine besides the flowers.
I would try to get a second opinion, though.
I was asking if there were bugs on the base of the plant that were eating it, but it looks like they're only on the flower stalks so far. I would keep an eye on it and spray them off anytime you find one to keep their numbers down. They only get really bad if you ignore them and let them stay.
Stink bug
It looks like a stink bug, a major garden pest
@NewCentaury99 hello Debra, stink bug? They don’t normally do this kind of damage
@NewCentaury99 i’ve never known a stink bug to do this kind of damage. Is there something I’m missing?
@ExecAudreyficus sorry 🙏🏽for the misunderstanding, no I don’t see any bugs except on the blooms. But I can’t get really Deep the poke me. N that hurts 🤕 I only see the bugs on the blooms
Sorry to hear about your Yucca Plant! I have seen this bug, quite a few times, inside my home. Never knew the name of it, and it 👀 creepy! I am not a fan of bugs, but I know this group can give you some advice on how to get rid of it. The Neem oil is good, but best to apply in the early mornings or the cool evenings.
@SweetAzurebluet hi Harriet than you. I know neem and sun don’t mix lol but I’m thinking at night it could help. 👍🏽thank my friend 💕
@SweetAzurebluet I can’t imagine seeing that inside my house! I’d probably neem the whole house lol 😂
@Preciousplants1 No problem, my dear! 😉
@SweetAzurebluet appreciate you
@Preciousplants1 Girl, when I seen that bug hobbling along, with one long foot and another short foot……. I was like where’s my can of RAID! 😩 😂
@SweetAzurebluet lol 😂 screaming laughing 😆 I can only imagine. Them thrips almost made me loose my mind.
I think I’m my hair is two shades greyer now 🤣
Thank you to @ExecAudreyficus @NewCentaury99 @Malagueña @SweetAzurebluet for all you input. I appreciate the help 🙏🏽👍🏽💕
@Preciousplants1 Girl, you are too much!!!! 🤣

@Malagueña thank you 🙏🏽
@Preciousplants1 it’s was more like a grass hopper with wings dark colored : kinda like this but it had wings and attacked me as I sprayed
@Preciousplants1 thank you for the information I appreciate trying to identify it
@SuperbRaspfern what do you think this bug could be? @BuffCaperspurge @elisenavidad @stephonicle @MamaLinne @MariansOasis : help me: bugs are attacking me that I know nothing about. I’m fairly new to different plants and I joined Greg’s for help. Come on my friends help me. please🙏🏽
Um, that’s not a bug, I’m afraid it’s an alien from outer space. 🪐 👽🛸
@MamaLinne 🤣🤣🤣
I really don’t want to say this, but Google lens said it’s outdoor thrips. 🫠🫠 https://gardenerspath.com/how-to/disease-and-pests/control-thrips/
(The image above that you posted- now that I reread- maybe that’s not exactly what you’re seeing?)
This looks more like it: https://ipm.ucanr.edu/home-and-landscape/leaffooted-bug #gsc.tab=0
@MamaLinne yes I just read that. So just coming out of s thrip nightmare for close to 3 months. I am afraid 😱. However I did go out tonight and spray them with neem. Thrips are horrible little creatures and I don’t want to deal with them anymore. 😱
@Preciousplants1 I googled the picture of the first one you posted and I think it’s closer to the second link I gave you: the leaf footed one. The second picture you posted is thrips but I don’t think that’s what your yucca has.
@MamaLinne thank you for the information but I sprayed with neem tonight and I’ll do it again tomorrow. I have tomatoes 🍅 and plantain more vegetables hopefully. I’m afraid if these are spreaders 🥲saddest I’ve been since I got rid of them in my house. I lost almost everything from those scary little creatures. 👍🏽🥲
@Preciousplants1 thank you 🙏🏽
@Preciousplants1 Stink bugs and their close cousins (like the Yucca Plant Bug) are highly damaging to yucca plants. They use piercing-sucking mouthparts to drain the plant's juices, causing unsightly yellow spotting, foliage stippling, and flower damage. Heavy infestations can irreversibly weaken or even kill the plant.
