It may be time for a new pot. I've also noticed that if the water getting used has a lot of TDS, keeping them in planters without drainage (like the one in your pic) can cause issues. My ferns like to sit in trays with small pebbles that keep their feet up out of the water that's drained off, but they also benefit from the evaporation that occurs from that water.
