Variegated Spider Plant

Hello!
I have been given this variegated Spider that lost it's variegation pretty quickly. That made me remember that it is not the first "variegated Spider" I had been given that lost it's variegation. Actually, all my spiders are solid.

Any ideas as to why? One person told me that if they are healthy they lose it but that doesn't sound right πŸ€”

Sometimes they start looking like this if they’re a bit too damp. Has your pot got drainage? Just as the soil looks quite water retentive and they’re fans of some pearlite mixed in, and a pot with good drainage too
@Nallon it does have a hole in the bottom, but maybe I'll hold off on it's next water
@jcPlantProper I have about 7 around the house, this one was variegated when my friend gave it to me, and I'm sure another was but it's been so long I'm not sure which of them was πŸ˜‚ so right now all the ones I have are solid green, and a variety of sizes and locations. Maybe when it was given to me it wasn't truly variegated?
@jcPlantProper that was the only solution I could come up with, too. Excellent, I'll try it now that someone agrees. Lol
