How do you determine how much and how often your plant ne...
I’ve figured out that mine like half their pot size. Like for my 4 inch (10cm) I use 2 oz. (60mL) or for my 6 in (16cm) I use 3 oz. (89mL). This is usually enough for 6-8 days depending on the size of the plant. It took 6 months for me to figure this out because I needed numbers for it to make sense 😂😂😂 it has been a full 30 days since I’ve had any #drooping or #overwatered plants 🪴💚🪴💚 I’m kinda proud lol #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #watermeter #WateringWednesday #WaterinHacks #Watering #WateringWisdom #NewPlantMom #PlantHacks #greencorner #Plerd #greggershelpinggreggers #Greggers #experts #GregGang #PLANTMAFIA
Stick your finger in the soil 1.5" deep. If moist, don't water, if dry water slowly until you see water dripping from the drainage hole.
Plants need to grow in pots with drainage holes anyway.
Don't follow the Greg app. Greg app was telling me to water every 7 days. I water every 10 days Summer, every 20 days Winter.

That's a fantastic system, Aja! Using a consistent measurement based on pot size is a great way to ensure your plants get the right amount of water. It's great that you've figured out what works for you and your plants.
Just remember, these are general guidelines and the actual watering needs can vary depending on factors like the type of plant, the potting mix, the temperature, and humidity. Always pay attention to your plants and adjust your watering schedule accordingly.
Keep up the great work, and happy plant parenting!

@USAGardenHub oh yes I’m fully aware, it gets more detailed with the individual plants needs, this is just the base when I get a new plant I know nothing about lol
