Can you post a current picture of your plant so we can a see what’s happening? What do you have it potted in? How do you water it? If you can can tag me in your response I’ll know to come check it out.
This is it now
@SocialHedera what type of substrate is it in? Hoyas are epiphytes and need chunky airy soil for their roots to breathe and not suffocate. Are the leaves firm or soft?
Cactus and perlite
@SocialHedera is it like a 50/50 mix? Or…? I use 5 parts coco chips, 5 parts chunky perlite, 1 part charcoal and 1 part coco coir. So I use only about 10% worth of soil. I attached a pic@ao@you can see how chunky. I would say your soil is suffocating your Hoya, that’s my opinion
@TheOddAsity oh gosh that looks good. I will definitely try that. Thank you!!
@TheOddAsity they are hard , but they are falling off
@SocialHedera so if they can’t breathe it does drop leaves. If you have stuff to treat for fungus just in case, I would do that and switch out the soil.
Wow! I have been growing Hoyas for years and have had many and killed some sadly but I have never seen a Hoya do this… I did have a critter eat every single leaf off one of mine in the greenhouse before . But never what I see in your pictures.
