How do I propagate my echeveria. Two of the leaves fell o...

#Echeveria
Very carefully and somehow, dry but use water but don’t use water and leave alone but tend to it while leaving it alone. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ I have one that arrived the same way and it’s shriveling up. Refuses to propagate. Won’t grow. Won’t root. I think it’s going on to glory.😭 Let me know if you find a solution. Please share.
There are 2 things you can try: 1) lay it on top of soil and see if it sprouts roots. (Sometimes they will and sometimes they won’t.) You don’t have to do anything else until they sprout roots. Once they have roots, you can gently tuck the roots into the soil and spray water into that area. They don’t need much water as they hold water in their leaves.
2) You can try to propagate by water. You’ll need a very small bottle (they sell them at Dollar Tree). You put water into the tiny bottle and then put the leaf into the opening. The water level should be close to the leaf but not touching it.
I’ve found that sometimes they prop and sometimes they don’t. GL ! πŸͺ΄πŸ’šπŸ€
I have done both putting a stem in water and in the soil. Both successfully grew roots. I have am currently trying with single leaf cuttings. I have them in soil and I water a few drops every day or two… I don’t want them wet as much as moist. Fingers crossed 🀞. Good luck πŸ€
@RiomeQueen thank you for all the suggestions. Hopefully it’ll work.
