PVN propagation - safe to pluck from the stem?

It’s been a minute since I’ve used greg but luckily non of my plants have suffered too much lol. I’ve got this little PVN growing out of a stem cutting (the last bit saved from a heavy mildew case). Would it be safe to pluck the little growth off, let it callous, and then plant it by itself? I don’t want to hurt it, but it would also be cool if the stem produced another little pup. #SucculentSquad #HappyPlants #perlevonnurnberg #Echeveria

yes, you can careful twist the pup off so the roots are intact. dip the wound in powdered cinnamon to prevent fungus and wait a day to plant. you can also pluck the lower couple of leaves off so more roots will form there. good save! it is well along and will be q beauty. good luck🌱
Oh, I did forget to say that I already got the advice to move her closer to light/increase light and repot with more grit in the soil, so the ligh step has happened and the soil step is next, just wanted to see if anyone could weigh in on my β€œpluck” thought before I did anything rash πŸ˜…
@ehery here’s a recent photo of the pup in its new pot! (With bunnies in the background lol) so far so good I think pup and stem are going to make it! :D
@LeafSprite yay, it looks like it's thriving! thanks for updating me πŸŽ‰
