Should I abandon this self watering pot?
My sweet Cleo has some yellow leaves. Naturally, I'm scared this pot is keeping her soil too damp..She was a $7 rescue from Wal-Mart. Help?

@addicted2growth Awesome find!! You're correct that's exactly what it's doing. You can keep the pot just don't fill the reservoir up with water. If you want to bottom water it you can fill it up and empty it when your Aglaonema is done drinking.☺️
@addicted2growth I am 100% with Heidi! To me these pots keep the soil soaked! Too much for any of the plants I have! I do keep them, but like @princesspitstop said, I don’t add water to them at all! Your plant is lovely! 🪴🌼
@Ponytailmom For real! I'm pretty sure that whoever invented this "plant unalive trap" lol target marketed them to nurseries and they went for it! Probably at a "Slicing them deep and selling them cheap!" discount. 🤣 I'm kidding but I still don't like them.
