Hi! My monstera is giving me new leaves but they’re small...

#Monstera
8ft to light, indirect
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Maybe it could be too much water or too little water, how often do you water? Do you check the moisture in the soil between waterings?
That pot is massive, a lot of that soil is most likely staying wet for multiple days, this can not only damage the plant due to overwatering, but also act as a breeding ground for pests/fungi/diseases. repotting will be good for her :)
Symptoms of too much or too little water are very similar but you can figure it out by keeping close attention to what you’re doing for a while. Make sure you water till water comes out the bottom drain holes not just till the top soil looks wet.
I also agree with Jackson-see what’s been happening in that pot!😊
@HeroHairyrocket I water every 1 1/2 weeks, and I check the soil with my finger πŸ˜…
@HonestCilantro thanks, it does stay wet multiple days, when I get her from the store she was in that pot so I thought it was the right size, but thanks I’ll gonna change her
Mine was doing that and the spots got bigger and darker, I cut off bad leaves, and put a hydrogen/ water mix in a spray bottle spritz her and gave her some coffee grounds and she is now doing amazing and new leaves aplenty..
Okay, you need to water it more. It hasn't been watered in a month! They need to be watered about 1x week to a week and a half. 2nd, they like moisture, put a pebble tray under it. It may also need a bit more light, being 10 feet away from the light. It can sit in a corner near the window, as long as it isn't getting direct sunlight for more than a couple hours a day.
