Hi @ExaltedCilantro I totally get the excitement of having a new plant buddy. I personally canβt stop obsessing on any new plants I bring home. From what Iβve read experienced & heard from othersβ¦ Here are some quick tips to help you and Kobe get off to a great start:
Light: Kobe loves bright, indirect light. Find a cozy spot near a window, but avoid direct sunlight as it might scorch those beautiful leaves.
Water: Keep the soil slightly moist, but not soggy. Allow the top inch of the soil to dry between waterings. It's always better to underwater than overwater.
Humidity: Kobe enjoys a humid environment, so spritzing the leaves every now and then will make it feel right at home.
Temperature: Keep it comfy! Kobe prefers temperatures between 65Β°F to 75Β°F (18Β°C to 24Β°C).
Fertilize: During the growing season (spring and summer), spring is out so the summer feed Kobe with a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month.
Pruning: If Kobe gets a bit too wild, feel free to trim back the stems to keep its shape and promote bushier growth.
Love and Care: Talk to Kobe, sing to it, shower it with affection (optional but hey, it won't hurt!) - plants love a little TLC!
Enjoy your new plant journey with Kobe, and don't worry if you have any questions along the way. You're gonna be a great plant parent! πΏπ

@JungleDreamer Thank you so much! When I first got my plant there were a few really long tendrils with nothing on them and then they were doubling - it was crazy!! So itβs okay to cut the long scraggly ones??
