App feed order?

Question

I've seen a few posts about people's feeds being not right, but I'm not sure what the problem they were having was. I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to the timeline of the posts I see. I get a new post from 5 min ago then something from 2 days ago and then one from 3 hours ago. I'm on an Android. Is there a way to alter the way the feed appears or is this what everyone sees?

Yeah this is how the feed has always been for me, but there is a new posts section, and if you tap on the section title and the little > shown next to it, it opens up new posts in reverse chronological order!

I sometimes get posts that are weeks old... It's just how the feed works 🤷
