oh! Well that’s a spider plant doing a spider plant thing! A flower run means there’s baby spider plants coming! How exciting!!!!!

Thank you. I wasn’t sure because this new stem is sticking out straight outward very strongly. I’ve never seen anything like this. Thank you for the information. I suppose I don’t need to do anything differently.

Make sure it gets plenty of light. I take mine outside on the patio in the summer.

@AC73LoveCats yes, that’s my plan when I see the babies come in. My patio will be their permanent home. But for now, this window brings excellent lighting in the mornings and all throughout the afternoons. It is the reason it is growing as it is now.
