Plant accident. Help!
Sigh, pulled this out to water and as I went to put it back it slipped completely out of my hand. I caught it before it hit the floor but my poor aloe broke. This is the plant we suspect is a climbing aloe. What do I do? I was going to let the broken end sit overnight and do I attempt to place it back in the soil? I think that tiny orange dot is a tiny root? Do I leave the rooted part with a few leaves in the pot? Will it regrow? It was growing like crazy. Im upset with my clumsy self. Was just doing too many things at once. #PlantAddict #SucculentSquad #AloeVera #ClimbingAloe #GregGang #SucculentLove

Oh no!🫣 it actually looks like a pretty clean break tho! I think it will be easy to put back into the soil(yes I believe the orange is a root forming) and also let the original keep growing in it’s current spot. I’ve got 3 of these climbing aloes-they’re also growing like CRAZY right now, and they’re strong plants🥰 look on the bright side, now you have 2💚
I would leave both. Waiting until broke section calluses over before replanting.
I would probably give the broken piece it’s own pot tho😊
Oh my I've done this too 😱 I agree with @Propa it will grow just fine.
Let it callous over night then put a little bit of cinnamon or root powder to protect it from germs then plant it in some moss or succlent soil ❤️🌿 the bottom piece add some cinnamon as well ❤️
