First propagation

I am propagating my first succulent. Do I follow normal watering and sun routines? Any tips? #HappyPlants #SucculentSquad

This is exciting! πŸ’šπŸ‘πŸΌDepending on what type of propping you are doing. By leaf, cutting? Air, water or soil? How are you propping your jade plant?
So there is a picture attached but I took a cutting and also a couple of leaves. I have two leaves and one cutting. I put them in soil. The same succulent/cacti mix I use for all my succulents and cacti.
For a cutting you should let the scar heal to prevent root rot. Around 2-5 days depending on the scar, you can then put your cutting in soil and wait a couple of to water. Then water like normal. @Sassylimey your name popped in my head for knowledge 😁
Thank you for the tag @AguaViviente. @LiquidRose84 yes Esmeralda is correct let your cutting scar for a couple of days and with succulents I just lay them on top of the soul and spritz once a day with a spray bottle being careful not to wet the leaves, just the soil. Happy propagating πŸ₯°πŸŒΏπŸŒ±πŸ’›
@Sassylimey thanks, you’re awesome!πŸ’šβœ¨
@Sassylimey how to effectively spritz them? i have my leaf propagations on cocopeat and whenever i mist everythint gets wet

I agree with @Sassylimey and @AguaViviente as well.

You can take your prop your kitchen counter and spritz it. That way all you have to wipe down is the kitchen counter. I have props and yes it can get messy.
@LiquidRose84 I place my props far enough apart on the soil so I can carefully just spritz the soil around them trying not to get the leaves wetπŸ˜‰πŸ€ͺ
