poorly pickle plant

i’m unsure if the picture shows clearly but pickle has some white substance on him & there are black specks on some of these too - i have no idea what it is??

@meg333 here is what I use. I prefer neem oil tho. Use it every 7 days, use very early in the morning or of the late evening since your plant is in direct light. Don’t use it for more than a month. I have had great success out of neem oil. I keep at least 3 bottles on hand at all times.

@KikiGoldblatt I use this too! I make a mix of neem oil, water and Mrs. Meyers Lilac soap to hide the neem smell! I had monstera and Swiss cheese philodendron thrips issue last year and I added a bit of H2O2. It was amazing.
