Oooh possibly. But a dark spot with a yellow halo can be indicative of a bacterial or fungal issue. It can happen in high humidity or poor air circulation. Sometimes getting water on the leaves can cause it too. Here’s a screenshot of more info. Google β€œplant brown spot with yellow halo” for more details. Hopefully it’s not anything more than light or watering. My monstera Peru developed brown spots with halos. I removed the affected leaves and sprayed with Captain Jack Super Insecticidal soap because I wasn’t positive it wasn’t a pest and also because I didn’t want to jump right in with fungicides or bacterial treatments. It cleared up very nicely. The β€œsuper” soap has spinosad which hits thrips as well as other pests. Good luck!!!πŸ€
Ooops not sure what happened to photo πŸ€ͺ. Here it is
Yes absolutely sun burn spots. Alter the light so it's higher and rotate your plant daily so it doesn't get sunburned in one spot every day.
