Is this to much sun for my Swiss cheese monstera
I just hung it in a south window and I'm seeing mixed opinions on whether it prefers indirect or direct light
1ft to light, direct
6โ pot with drainage
Last watered 5 days ago
In my experience, this plant has done better for me being just beyond the reach of direct sunlight. You can always leaf it alone for a bit and see how it grows. (:
It looks like that window might get a decent amount of shade.
I'm glad you found Greg!

@sarhsalith I just got it in the mail yesterday. I think I might put it in a water basin for 30 minutes and then hang it back up to let the leaves perk up . Right now it is getting maybe half of the plant in the direct afternoon light and the inside half is more shade so hopefully that's a good spot
@JocoseApplemoss I have two Adansonii. My mother plant and a prop from her. I keep both of them in north facing windows. I found when I had them in south, southeast or southwest facing windows they crisp really easily. Which brings me to my next tip they love humidity so somewhere like a bathroom or kitchen would be great place. Yours is beautiful btw
@poisedalbo I have a north window in my kitchen id like to hang it in front of, my wife is not a fan of that spot so I got stuck with this window. If it starts declining then I guess she'll have no choice but to accept or become a plant murderer.
