I’ve learned that the app schedule is just to be used as a guideline. I don’t use the guideline & just go on my own schedule & snooze if I don’t water.

Hey @KinglyPokaka76 I’m sorry about your plant 😢. I’ve learned there’s no real watering “schedule” — it’s better to water based on your plant’s needs, not the app. I use Greg as a reminder to check the soil, not as a rule to water. A moisture meter has helped me a lot, along with finger-testing the soil, lifting the pot for weight, and watching for signs like drooping or curling leaves. Good luck! 🌿

I think the best information in the article is that these plants grow rainforests so they like the water but in rainforest the water comes in and moves out of the soil rather quickly so they wouldn’t be happy in stagnant water.
