In the next few weeks, #GregTeam will be finishing up another big round of updates that we’re super excited to share with y’all.

🏝️ This will bring us one step closer to returning to update the Oasis tab and we’d love to know what your perfect Oasis looks like! You can share a dream feature or even suggest a whole redesign. (Definite bonus points if you feel artistically inclined and wanna draw us a picture. 😉)

🌱 being able to rate plants / submit reviews
🌿 being able to create groups within your oasis (or being able to manually order plants without relying on the alphabetization method)
🪴 being able to search for specific posts!

I’d also like to reply to someone and have them see what comment I’m replying to…sometimes people say 10 things and I want to comment on each thing. It gets lost in the sauce

It would be nice to be able to comment on somebody’s stories. For example, today I was watching a user’s stories and noticed that there is wrong ID. It would be cool to have a button or a field on the stories , so I could comment that his plant is not Jelly bean , it is GOLDEN sedum..

Ooo wait what about organization when it comes to the bio section of your oasis. For example, when viewing my oasis, I can edit my bio and type it out however I want and it’ll look the way I typed it, spaces, layout and all!

But when viewing my oasis when clicked through a comment, my bio lay out looks different. Any fixes or changes to this? @RJG basically the format lmao

I think it would help if we could view Greggers’ Oases(?) without having to go back and forth on each plant…it’s kind of a pain if you want to view the plants one by one. It would be nice if we could swipe left or right to see the next one.

@RJG yes!! Exactly.Because I like to see the type of plant and the name. Every time I go back after viewing a single plant it reverts back up to the top of the oasis and that’s tedious if someone has a lot of plants.

I agree with most people that the ability to sort my oasis would be nice. By name, plant type and location would be my ideal. By light needs, soil type and pot type would be my next three.

I’d like to have the option to choose a landing page when I launch the app. Personally, I’d prefer to open up directly to my Oasis as my homepage; then I can navigate to the community feed or the care cards afterwards. Others may want to see the feed first thing or their watering/fertilising list first thing, etc.

More:
-captioning & more personalization for stories 
-homepage sorted into the different discussions (or hashtags) in a drop down or easy navigation bar
-reactions to posts and comments (more than thumbs up or down)
-organization of questions into categorizes and separation from main posts (i.e. identity the plant in question, then notify people who own that plant for help. or identify the issue, alerting people who have had those same issues). you could also archive these questions when answered so that only unanswered questions are addressed 
-the ability to repost someone else’s post either for reference or comments

Personally I’d prefer my oasis arranged alphabetically by Scientific Name.  It would be cool if we could choose between sorting by scientific name, common name, nickname, or age.

@RJG idk if it’s been mentioned already (but I swear I read every comment 😂), but I’d actually really like it if we had the option to display our plants names and/or scientific name on the little profile photo in our oasis. Sometimes I feel like my plants are all running together visually 😂

In my plants individual gallery I’d like to be able to move around the photos. Just in case I upload a photo from a month BEFORE and need to put it in the correct order.

Yea! I’m excited for the updates. As far as suggestions go, I would love some better function of searching and sorting. Searching plants, hashtags, and topics. Sorting by plant genus, soil type (ie: leca watering is completely different and I want to see just my leca plants)

I’ve deleted/killed several plants recently and it would be so nice to have them archived somewhere so I can remember what not to buy. 😬
Also very much want to sort by room so I’m not running back and forth across the house when I’m watering. 
And… plant sitter mode. Or something like it. I want all my watering that’s due on a calendar (major bonus for sorted by room) that I could print off and leave with someone caring for them. 
Would also love it if I could tell Greg I’m going on vacay for a week and he could tell me which plants to water before I left and who can wait, or consolidate some for the sitter. 
Last maybe I just can’t figure this out, but I want to be able to pick the “cover photo” for each plant. Sometimes I snap a bad one just to log it and want to replace it with a good one. But then still want to keep tabs on growth without replacing the main pic.

@RJG when you add a plant and it lets you pick a pot size, could there be an option such as “prop” “air plant” that you could pick?  Maybe I’m not looking in the right area? I’ve looked around and can’t seem to find and area to mark an air plant and it wants me to put it in a pot.

#GregFeedback Hey I was wondering if this issue was already brought up…. I am sure many of us would like to have quick acces to comments/answers when we are tagged. For example, when i comment on someone’s post or question and they write me back, I have to find (scroll down) to find the response! Idk if this makes any sense but a quick ‘link’ to our tagged comment would be nice 😊

@RJG @evergreen_pulip has some great suggestions! Sometimes I quick add a plant and when I’m bored go in and add/edit details and the app will mark it as repotted when it really wasn’t. Also the editing the date for when it was watered would be great! I sometimes forget and remember days after I’ve watered a plant. A sorting by room such as @Mrsjenger suggested would be great also! Although I prob need the workout lol me

I think my main 3 are: when someone @ you it goes right to it. Graveyard. Search for-threads, plants.
