If the pot truly has no drainage, I would be concerned about the roots rotting
It is a self watering clay pot. The inside pulls out and I put the recommended amount of water in the bottom and it soaks through the clay into the soil. Would this still be able to cause root rot? Sorry I'm extremely new to houseplants.
Give it plenty of light
That plant needs drainage. It also prefers a bit of perlite mixed in with the soil. I can’t see where you are in the world but your plant does love a bit of unfiltered light. Mine is the same distance as yours from a window. I’m in the north of England and we don’t get much sun at this time of year, mine is helped along by a light that isn’t too on top of her. Sort out the pot and soil first and see how your plant does from there.
