I've had this plant for a year now, and for most of its time, it has been neglected for about 8 months and it was fine. Then when I started taking care of it, meaning changingbits pot, watering it once a week, etc it started to have this

I’m no expert on euonymus but it likes sunny location and to be a little on the dry side, in well draining soil. So perhaps the new found attention of weekly watering is too much? The leaves are complaining about something & I suspect it’s in response to too much water. Perhaps it needs to be closer to direct light than 4 feet you have in the profile for the amount of water you’re giving. I’d say find a better balance of sun and water and he’ll probably get better.
Our neighbor has one outside with all day sun and on top of a little hill so drainage is 👍👍👍. Good luck!
