Hey there! Pearls love LOTS of over head light, bottom water only with distilled or rainwater (bottled water in a pinch) they have "windows" or slits that appear open and closed, when they're "closed" you know to water them. They like shallow pots with well draining soil. I told someone yesterday, less is more with strings, except for light. They want ALL of the light and more!
