My English ivy leaves has turned brown on the tips nd mo...
@BuffAlbo pictures help us understand better, but let me see if I can offer some options of reasons. One, if by bottom you mean in the pot, then they could just be old leaves and that is normal. Two, for brown tips and dropping leaves, mine did this before I found how he likes to be watered and also because I wasn't feeding him. He also did not like being in direct sunlight in my house and this caused him to get brown in the leaves.
Sometimes the tips turn brown if they have been over fertilized, you can flush the soil to get rid of the salt build up. Or it could be from insufficient watering or lack off humidityβ¦ Not sure which one applies to your plant. And welcome to the #GregFam #GreggersSupportingGreggers ππΈπ»π΅ποΈπ¦πͺ΄

This may not work for you but I'd love to share my experience with my English Ivy, by the way, is one of my most favorite plants!
I got her from a local greenhouse in May and put her very near a northeast window. She looked good for about four-and-a-half months but didn't grow an inch. In mid-September we setup Sansi grow lights and moved Ivy to a part of the living room that gets no light at all and she exploded! I also had a problem before she was moved with most leaves becoming brown-tipped. As Ivy became more and more healthy under the grow lights, I snipped of these leaves...not all at once.
Also found out that my Ivy likes to be almost completely dried out between waterings. She doesn't like her leaves misted but I do have a humidifier. We also use only We the Wild products and that's been a big help.
I've read that English Ivy can be very easily propagated in water, so you may want to do that to add to your existing plant or create a new one.
Wishing you the best and hope your baby thrives!
Sorry this is soooooo long. My excuse is that I have been a journalist for most of my career π .
