Hello @FirstBogWillow as I read β€œThe Ficus ginseng is a slow grower and really relies on having a good amount of light to grow. Placing the plant on a windowsill is a great option as long as it's filled with bright, indirect light. The best spot will be in a window that gets morning light. Afternoon sunlight may be too harsh for the plant.” Hope it helps
Hi Jean-Francois!

While ficus love bright light, if they aren't used to it being filtered, they will burn just like we do.

You'll want to slowly acclimate it to the light to prevent further burns. You can also prune any of the brown leaves off.
