Is this rust fungus?
Just got this plant in the mail and not sure if these spots should be of concern or not. Any insight would be appreciated. #fungus #infection #brownspots #helpneeded #PothosPack #Pothos

Hi @UphorbiaUphoria! Since it just came in the mail, it’s possible that it is just damage from the shipping or even possibly from cold. That being said, it does resemble rust. I typically treat all my new plants will fungicide and pesticides preventatively anyway, and it hasn’t bothered any of them except my very tiny alocasia. If you are still interested in treating it after you get in contact with the seller, I would recommend spraying one leaf with a copper fungicide, wait a day or two to see how it reacts, and if it does ok spray down the rest of the plant. I usually take the “better safe than sorry” approach since I’ve got fungicide on hand anyway and hasn’t really been a problem for my plants except for the alocasia. 😆 It’s a gorgeous leaf! Is that an Epipremnum Albo?
It does look like fungus infection. I would contact the seller, show the photos, and ask for the replacement plant.
