I'm not familiar with this species, but I will give a brand recommendation. If you choose a brand of soil, do NOT choose Miracle-Gro. I was informed early, thankfully, before any major disaster, but I heard that Miracle-Gro can end your collection. Instead, go for Black Gold, FoxFarms, etc. Personally, I'm currently using Black Gold potting soil, and so far, it's doing great! Honestly, I often add other materials, so it is better for a specific plant (i.e., adding pea gravel for tropicals). Still, steer clear of any Miracle-Gro!

I mix peat moss, perlite, small orchid bark (I will add large orchid bark as an add on depending on plant and pot size).
