Disease or watering issue?

This is my wife’s philodendron. We noticed a few leaves yellowing but showing black spots. Possible disease or is this more likely a water issue? #Philodendron
8ft to light, indirect
7” pot with drainage

Hi! This is not a philodendron. This is a golden pothos! I would need more information to find out about the black spots, but yellowing leaves is normal as long as it's one or two of the old ones.
Possibly over watering bud. Let the soil get dry and then look up a watering schedule that works for where you live. I just started gardening and I have a few cucumber plants with yellow leaves along with a couple watermelons with yellow leaves. Just trying to help
@arronhunt Arron I think this may be a bacterial infection because I notice behind your leaf you are holding the leaf has circles that are halo like. Here is a link to info on this :,5440.1&SUIH=35Qjw4qwuoGDi7DQFYQdJA&redir=aHR0cHM6Ly9ncmVlbnBhY2tzLm9yZy9iYWN0ZXJpYWwtbGVhZi1zcG90LXBvdGhvcy8jOn46dGV4dD1JZiUyMHlvdXIlMjBwb3Rob3MlMjBwbGFudCUyMGhhcyUyMGFscmVhZHklMjBiZWVuJTIwaW5mZWN0ZWQsaXMlMjBnZXR0aW5nJTIwZW5vdWdoJTIwbGlnaHQlMkMlMjB3YXRlciUyQyUyMGFuZCUyMG51dHJpZW50cy4lMjA hopefully this will open to give you info. You can try using a copper-based fungicide to help control the spread of bacteria.
I would guess something funky with its roots and soil. I would advise switching the soil out for a more draining soil (I find a mix of potting mix, extra perlite, and some orchid mix makes a nice well draining soil) . You can wash its roots with a very diluted mix of peroxide and water.
