So my burros tail the roots were rotted I cut off the rot...

It will work- I've seen burro's tails prop in water, but they can also prop easily in soil and then you don't have to worry about damaging the roots when you transfer them from the water. (:

Well the prop in water didn't seem to be going well. So I transfered to gritty mix with leca at the bottom not sure what happened. But they still don't look well.
