Repotting...do y'all think I should move these two girls ...

@BrawnyMachofern I don’t know how DIY you are, but I’ve found drilling holes in coffee mugs or cheap (like dollar stores, Walmart), ceramic bowls can pride width without increasing depth too much.
They usually don't have deep roots, I would prefer a bit wider pot but not deeper. It might take the soil longer to dry and cause rot
@AlwaysKatsura56 all I have are these 6-in pots that I've already moved these girls too
I would wait. Succulents really don't mind being snug in their pots, and if they aren't showing any signs of distress, then they're usually fine. You'll know they're ready when you're constantly watering them and when roots start poking out the bottom of the pot.
@DesertGreen What an awesome idea! I never even thought of repurposing things like that, thank you 😊
@BrawnyMachofern … it was supposed to say β€œprovides…”. My apologies about the misspelling Lol I bought this cereal size bowl at Walmart for a $1. 35. It’s sturdy, too. I was trying to rehab a cactus pad, so the middle drainage hole was fine; however, if I choose to plant something else, like succulents, I would drill a couple more holes. As you can see, it’s kind of small. It was just the biggest drill bit I had on hand.
@DesertGreen absolutely no worries...I misspell stuff all the time LOL. I actually just purchased these pots from Amazon so I'll be moving some in these plus I have more plants on the way so I'll have even more to play with πŸ˜‚
@BrawnyMachofern here's what a root bound succulent looks like. This thing is 10/10 ready for an upgrade. Roots were starting to poke out of the bottom of the pot and she was drying out within two days of watering.
@Charli3Plant Thank you for that visualization, it helps a ton 🫢
@BrawnyMachofern also, here's another look at a succulent that's snug in it's pot and thoroughly watered. It can very easily stay in this pot for the remainder of the year and do just fine.
