Can I propagate another snake plant from this?

Would I be able to use the smaller section to get another snake plant? #Dracaena #SnakePlant #HappyPlants
8ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Absolutely! When you cut to propagate, just make sure your tools are clean. Let it callous over for a few days before potting it up. You’ll probably want to get a 2-2.5” pot. Once you’ve added well draining soil, wait atleast a couple weeks to water or until the soil is completely dry.
Yes!πŸ€— I would probably wait until it is a little bigger though. I have split mine the past two years with no problems. This time I am going to wait cause I have heard they might bloom if it gets tight enough in the potπŸ˜„
@Sheliwaili I bought my first snake plant 1 and a half years ago and have successfully transplanted 4 of its offspring. Like @S.ham13 mentioned, make sure the knife is clean and let it dry and callous over for a few days minimum before repotting.
@MockingJay ooooo!!! That would be awesome to see a bloom!!!
@TopMonoceritos That’s what I’m talkinnn about πŸ˜ŽπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
