Should I re pot my fiddle?

Hi! My fiddle (bought from Greg!) has been thriving, and I’m just realizing that the pot now seems rather small in size. πŸ˜‚ but I’m not sure if they like it this way or if I should go up a few sizes! I don’t know when it got so tall of a sudden πŸ˜‚πŸƒ
You can see how much it’s grown since I first got it πŸ’• #FiddleLeafFig #GregPlantShop #RepotSeason

Hmmm probably yes so it can have more room for roots ☺️ oh and your plant is so beautiful 😊
I would let it stay in that pot for this growing season. Let it grow fill the pot and replant it first of spring next year so it can grow and fill out that bigger pot next time. I have seen these figs get pretty tall and thrive in the same pot all year in a greenhouse setting. It’s doing so good I would leave it alone.
You never want to upgrade too early, risking root rot as the extra soil pools all the water that can’t be absorbed in a timely manner. The size of the foliage is not the indicator. You need to take it out of the pot to look at the roots. Are the roots filling out the pot full, growing all along the bottom, and there is more roots than soil? Plants can usually handle being a bit root bound.
