The leaves on my rattle snake plant are droopy??

I bought this plant a week ago and ever since the leaves have drooped a little bit does anyone know why?
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
Probably time to give it some water. Leaves usually start to droop like that when a plant is thirsty
Plants often get the best care at the growers or nursery. They go through an adjustment period when they’re brought to our homes. Maybe the light isn’t what he’s used to - too much light or too far/too close to the light? The humidity may not be what he’s used to. Do you have an air conditioner going? Calatheas like a more humid environment. AC and heaters dry out the air. It looks like you recently watered him so make sure the soil isn’t too wet before you water again. Top 1-2 inches should be dry to the touch. Soggy soil will certainly be an issue for calatheas. They are not easy plants and tend to be drama queens. I’d recommend changing a few things to see if it makes him perk up again. Don’t be tempted to fertilize right away. It may be too much for him to deal with in his new environment. Remember the food source for plants is proper light. Fertilizer is like a vitamin supplement. It replaces things that are missing but fertilizer isn’t food. Get his light right and you’re part way there. Humidity is probably next, followed by water. Calatheas are fussy about how much or how little water 💦 they can tolerate. And the quality - rainwater is best if you can catch it. It doesn’t rain here so I use filtered “overnight” water due to our hard tap water.
